What to do with it: A Northwest delicacy. Truffle, hazelnuts, really any fall fare.

Why it’s worth drinking: Clonal diversity. Most Pinot Noir bottlings are a single or just a few different clones of Pinot. Each clone is different, ripens at different times and tastes slightly different. Clos Electrique has dozens of clones. John Paul is what I would call a collector. He’s going to get those vines one way or another. And then we get to taste it.
